Miller Farms is a family owned farm in Plattevillle (about 2 hours north of Colorado Springs). During their fall harvest they allow you to be a farmer for a day! You get to ride out on the tractors, pick up to 4 bags of produce for each person over 5 years old (1 bag for 5 and under) and they have a ton of activities to enjoy! Bring a lunch and make a day of it. Typically 10 years and up is $25 for the upick but on the home school day everyone is $15! Here is the link to their page if anyone would like to join us.
